REPTI ZOO Review: Reptile Terrariums, UVB and Heat Kits
REPTI ZOO sells glass and aluminium reptile terrariums, UVB lights and heat kits. We look at real prices, safety, shipping, returns and warranty limits.
Anyone who has set up a bearded dragon or crested gecko enclosure knows the tank is only the start. Lighting, heating, a thermostat and humidity control quickly double the bill. REPTI ZOO sells almost all of it under one name. The brand describes itself as a reptile supplies designer and manufacturer with 15 years in the trade and 46 patent applications, and its US web store at reptizoo.store is run by Etan Pet Supplies Inc from Perris, California. Here is what the REPTI ZOO range costs, and what the small print says.

Which REPTI ZOO terrariums are worth a look?
Enclosures are the core of the catalogue, and they are sold by series. At the entry level, the RAK05 tank measures 20 x 12 x 14 inches and is listed at $99.99. The 34 Gallon Large Glass Reptile Terrarium measures 24 x 18 x 18 inches and costs $177.99. It has double-hinged front doors, a removable mesh top, a raised waterproof base and a 3D foam rock background, and it is a knock-down design that the brand says takes five minutes to assemble.

For bearded dragons, the 120 Gallon Stackable Aluminum Reptile Terrarium is the more interesting option. It has an aluminium frame, sliding tempered glass doors, a cylinder lock, cable management and a full mesh top, and it comes in green or purple. Read the variants carefully, though. Only the 48 x 24 x 24 inch version ($389.99) is genuinely 120 gallons. The 36 x 18 x 18 inch version ($349.99) shares the same product name but is much smaller. Chameleon keepers can look at the front-opening 18 x 18 inch mesh cage at $229.80. At the top end there is a 180-gallon glass tank at $739.
How good is the lighting and heating kit?
This is where REPTI ZOO earns repeat custom. The T5 HO UVB Lighting Combo Kit pairs a 24W, 22-inch fixture with a 10.0 desert UVB tube for $59.20. A 12-inch version costs $48.99; its 5.0 tropical option was out of stock when we checked. The PID Dimming Thermostat costs $33.99, covers 5–65°C, remembers its setting after a power cut, and flashes a warning when the temperature drifts. A 6 x 8 inch heat mat with its own thermostat is $28.89, and a 50W infrared lamp kit with a safety mesh is $32.99.

A few cautions apply. Product pages mostly list compatible animals, not exact distances or temperatures, so check your species’ care sheet before you choose a UVB strength. Run heat mats and lamps through a thermostat rather than leaving them on unregulated. UVB tubes also lose output well before they stop glowing. The brand sells a handheld UVB meter at $119.99 for anyone who wants to check.
What are the shipping, returns and warranty terms?
US shipping is free to the contiguous states, and listed prices include sales tax. Standard orders should dispatch in one to three business days and arrive in three to six. Custom-sized enclosures are a different matter: the FAQ quotes 50–70 business days, and custom orders cannot be cancelled. Custom accessories and spare parts are final sale.
Returns are accepted within 30 days, but only with written approval by email first. Items must be unused and in their original packaging, including the polystyrene inserts, and you pay the return postage unless the item is faulty. Damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. The policies also contradict each other. One page allows cancellations within two hours of ordering and the FAQ says 12. Refusing a parcel in transit costs 15% on one page and 20% on another. Address changes after dispatch cost $35, or $70 once delivered. Plan on the stricter figures.
The warranty covers problems in the first 30 days in full. After that, and up to 360 days, you get free spare parts only, and glass, lights and fixtures are excluded. Some lighting pages mention a separate 180-day replacement for defects. Orders bought through third-party marketplaces are not covered by the store’s warranty.
Can UK keepers buy from REPTI ZOO?
Not from this store. The shipping policy states that it currently delivers only within the United States, even though the country selector also lists Australia, Canada and Singapore. The electricals are built for 120V US mains, so they are not a plug-in option for British homes anyway. For UK readers, this is a useful guide to the brand’s products and prices rather than somewhere to order.
Who is REPTI ZOO best for?
It suits US keepers who want matching kit from one maker: an enclosure, a UVB fixture, a dimming thermostat and a fogger, without hunting across several brands. The knock-down glass and stackable aluminium enclosures offer good value at their sizes. The trade-offs are rigid return conditions, a warranty that thins out quickly for lighting, and naming that needs a second read. Check dimensions, not gallon claims, and keep the packaging for 30 days. For a well-equipped first or upgraded habitat, REPTI ZOO is worth a look.
