Detox Organics Review: Greens Powder Prices and Fine Print

Detox Organics sells a chocolate greens powder with big promises. We check the label, real prices, subscription terms and refund rules before you buy.

Greens powders promise a shortcut to the vegetables most of us do not eat enough of. Detox Organics, an Arizona company, takes a slightly different route: its flagship Daily Superfoods is a chocolate-flavoured blend of organic greens, roots and fruit powders that you shake with water or milk. Detox Organics also sells capsules, gummies and bundles, and its marketing is loud. Here is what you actually get, what it costs and where the small print matters.

What is in Detox Organics Daily Superfoods?

Each 16.5g scoop combines about 25 USDA-certified organic plant powders, grouped into three blends the brand calls its “3-phase” formula. The roots-and-fruit blend includes carrot, beetroot, dandelion, ginger, turmeric, pineapple, acai and goji. A second blend adds spinach, spirulina, kale, broccoli, coconut water and kelp. The third adds wheatgrass, barley grass, alfalfa, chlorella and peppermint.

Those three blends total roughly 7.9g. The rest of the scoop is organic cocoa, guar gum, monk fruit, stevia, cinnamon and salt. The label lists 61 calories, 3.2g of protein, 6.7g of fibre and under 1g of sugar per serving, with no added sugar. It is vegan, soy-free and dairy-free. The allergen line flags coconut and wheat (from wheatgrass), even though the site also calls the powder gluten-free. Kelp is a source of iodine, worth knowing if you already take a multivitamin or have a thyroid condition.

Does the “detox” idea hold up?

Your liver and kidneys handle detoxification on their own, and no powder replaces them. The site goes much further than that. It says one scoop equals “10 pounds” of vegetables, suggests users may feel headaches or breakouts as a sign of “detoxing”, and runs testimonials that read like medical outcomes. We have left those claims out, because the site offers no published evidence for them.

A fairer way to see Daily Superfoods is as a convenient, low-sugar chocolate drink with a useful dose of fibre and a broad spread of plant powders. Its own FAQ admits it does not replace fresh produce or a probiotic, and that no supplement causes weight loss on its own. That is the honest framing, and the one we would use.

What do Detox Organics products really cost?

A single 30-serving tub of Daily Superfoods is $74.99 as a one-off purchase. Every tub option shows a crossed-out $99 “was” price, including the six-month bundle, so treat it as an anchor rather than a real saving. A monthly subscription costs $59.99, about $2 a serving. “Buy 3 for 2” is $164.99 and a six-month supply is $299.99, which brings the price down to roughly $1.50 a day.

You can skip, reschedule or cancel a subscription from your account. A footer banner saying “Free shipping ends tonight!” appeared on every page we checked, so do not let it rush you. Free US shipping starts at $100.

The range also includes bundles at $89.99, a $29 “Daily Boost” capsule that the site sells as a weight-loss aid, and $24.99 activated charcoal capsules called Emergency Detox. We do not recommend buying either for those claims. Activated charcoal can reduce how well medicines and other supplements are absorbed, so ask a pharmacist before trying it.

How do shipping and refunds work?

US orders typically arrive in two to five business days. Detox Organics ships to the UK, Ireland and much of Europe, plus Australia, Canada, Israel, Japan and others. Prices are in US dollars, delivery can take two to three weeks and import charges may apply. One recent review also complained about slow subscription deliveries.

Refunds need careful reading. The product page and FAQ promise a 90-day “Worry-Free Guarantee” on any first-time purchase, starting from delivery. You email hi@detoxorganics.com with your order number, and you need not return opened tubs. The separate refund policy page, however, still describes a generic 30-day window and says sale items cannot be refunded. Before you order, get written confirmation by email that the 90-day guarantee applies to you. Note too that if you return part of a bundle, the item you keep is recharged at full price.

Who is Detox Organics for?

Daily Superfoods suits people who dislike grassy greens drinks, want extra fibre in a low-sugar chocolate shake and are happy to pay around $2 a serving. Buy one tub first, keep your delivery date for the guarantee, and ignore the countdown banners. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication or have a health condition, speak to your doctor first. This includes giving it to children, which the site suggests at half a scoop. If you go in with modest expectations, Detox Organics is a tasty way to add more plants to a busy routine, not a reset button.
