Amanda Hair Review: Glueless Wigs, Prices and Fine Print
Amanda Hair sells glueless human-hair wigs, bundles and closures from Xuchang. We check real prices, density claims, shipping and returns before you buy.
Glueless wigs have changed what a first wig looks like. Instead of lace glue, a stocking cap and a salon appointment, you get a pre-cut lace front, an elastic band and a wig you can put on in minutes. Amanda Hair is one of the online brands selling that idea at volume. Its About page gives a company address in Xuchang, Henan, the Chinese city at the centre of the global human-hair trade. Amanda Hair wigs, bundles and closures are made from human hair and sold in US dollars, and the prices look low. The marketing around them needs a closer look.

What do Amanda Hair wigs cost?
The 300% High Density Glueless 7×5 HD Lace Frontal Wig in Deep Curly is typical of the range. It costs $176.77 for 18 inches in natural black and $396.26 for 30 inches in ombre brown. Shorter styles cost less. The 7×5 Lace Kinky Straight Bob is $109.99 at 12 inches and $119.99 at 14. The 3-in-1 Kinky Straight Half Wig, which uses a drawstring instead of lace and leaves some of your own hair out at the front, runs from $79.99 to $249.99.
For sew-ins, Brazilian Body Wave bundles start at $69 for a single 20-inch bundle. Three bundles (20, 22 and 24 inches) cost $159, or $199 with a 4×4 lace closure. The brand’s FAQ suggests three to four bundles for a full head, or a closure or frontal to finish it.
Are the flash-sale prices real?
Almost every listing is labelled “Flash Sale” and shows a crossed-out “regular” price. On the deep curly wig, the crossed-out figure is exactly two and a half times the selling price for every length and colour. A “$199=28”” listing shows $995 crossed out next to $199. A fixed ratio like that suggests a formula, not a price anyone actually paid. Ignore the crossed-out number and the “Sold 88%” stock bars, and compare the selling price with similar wigs elsewhere.
The shop also runs buy-one-get-one bundles, $69 mystery boxes and novelty listings such as “Wow $0.1 Lace Wig”. These can be good value, but check what the second wig is before assuming it matches the first. Some “24H shipping” deals are for US orders only.

What does 300% density really mean?
Density describes how much hair is on the cap. No industry body defines what 180%, 250% or 300% means, so each brand uses its own scale. Amanda Hair’s 300% wigs are designed to look very full, which suits big curls and dramatic styles. On straight hair and short bobs, extra density can make the wig look heavy, and it adds weight and heat. Most everyday wearers choose 150% to 180%.
The labelling is also inconsistent. One Burmese curly wig is titled “300% Density” on its page, but “200” appears in its web address. Listings promise “No Shedding”, while the help page says a few strands of shedding are normal. The listings also say the hair is “100% Human Virgin Hair” and “can last more than 12 months with proper care”. No one checks either claim, so buy on photos and reviews, not on labels.
How do shipping, customs and returns work?
According to the shipping page, in-stock wigs leave the US warehouse with free delivery in three to five working days. Orders sent from China take five to nine working days to the UK, Europe and Australia by DHL or FedEx. Items not in stock need three to five extra working days to prepare. UK buyers should expect import VAT and a courier handling fee. The help page says the company usually puts a “low value” on the customs invoice, and you can choose the declared value. That practice could cause you problems, so declare the real price.
Returns are allowed within 30 days of delivery, but only for unworn hair with the lace uncut, tags attached and the original packaging. You must email customer service first. You pay for return postage to an address in California, and the brand isn’t responsible for parcels lost on the way. Clearance items and custom colour, style or length orders cannot be returned. The policies don’t say whether flash-sale wigs count as clearance, so ask before you pay. The two policy pages also disagree on cancellations: one allows two business days, the other allows cancellation until dispatch.

Who should buy Amanda Hair wigs?
Amanda Hair suits buyers who know their cap size and texture and want a glueless wig for under $200. A natural-colour 7×5 glueless unit in 18 to 22 inches is the safest first order. It costs less, it is more likely to be in stock, and you avoid colouring, the riskiest part of any wig. Try it on with the lace uncut, and keep the packaging until you’re sure. Pay with PayPal or a credit card for extra protection. Klarna and Afterpay are also offered. Bought with care, Amanda Hair can be an affordable way to try glueless hair.
